In an effort to make our show more accessible to students, the Education Intern and I created the Golden Shield Student Outreach Project. This project is my proudest accomplishment from the internship. With the help of the Audience Development team, we created a student discount code and compiled a list of local student organizations, affinity groups, and clubs to share it with. We specifically found student groups we thought might be interested in the show's specific themes as well as general student theatre programs. I designed the email assets; an e-flyer and social media graphic. The Education Intern wrote a body email to go with these assets and we reached out to nine different schools. We sent out emails in three waves of outreach; AAPI Community Night invites, general student discount invites, and Nuance of Translation and Interpretation Panel invites. Our outreach project sold a total of 13 student tickets in just two weeks!

This was the flyer I designed for our second third wave of outreach. Our second wave of outreach invited student theatre organizations to see our show at a discounted rate. The third wave of outreach invited students studying translation or the Chinese language to our Nuance of Translation and Interpretation Panel.
