Video Archive List 

In anticipation of the 50th anniversary season next year, the Marketing department wanted a comprehensive list of every video living in our digital archive server. I was tasked with compiling a list of each video in our system from the year 1980 through the current season. This project took me two weeks to complete but I created a very useful resource. The list included years, file names, file types, brief descriptions of the videos, and file locations. Once my list was created as an excel sheet, I created hard copy resources in 1-inch binders that could be used in anniversary season planning meetings. These binders were divided into three sections; b-roll, TV spots/ads, and miscellaneous. The miscellaneous video section was subdivided into "About MTC", "First Looks', "Opening Nights", "Fall Benefit/Spring Gala", "30 Under 35", and "Interviews". This project taught me a lot about the importance of proper archiving and creating easy access to files in an over crowded system.
